The Bard’s Birthday Bash aka Shakespeare’s Birthday Party is exactly what it sounds like (except the birthday boy is 462 years old and can’t blow out his own candles because he is dead.)

Join us for a full-on birthday bash for William Shakespeare at The CENTER for Performing Arts at Rhinebeck. Think classic birthday: hats, streamers, cake, and maybe even some Shakespeare-themed party games with fun prizes. This isn’t precious, just a group of people celebrating the Bard in a way he hopefully would have loved: social, loud, fueled by food, drink, and a shared love of theatre. There will be snacks, cake, a cash bar, plenty of silliness, music and dancing. Come as a die-hard Shakespeare fan, a theater regular, or just someone who wants a genuinely fun night out.

The night also marks the 20th anniversary of The CENTER’s Shakespeare Festival, so if celebrating a dead guy isn’t your thing, come celebrate your local community theatre and our enduring spirit instead!
