The CENTER for Performing Arts is committed to making every visit welcoming and accessible to all patrons. Below, you will find details regarding parking, mobility access, seating options, restrooms, assistive listening devices, interpreted performances, and how to request specific accommodations.

Parking & Drop-off
We offer three designated accessible (handicapped) parking spaces located right near the main entrance:
Ramp Access Space
One designated space is positioned directly adjacent to the main entrance ramp.
Van-Accessible / Extra Space
The other two accessible spaces include adjacent striped unloading zones to allow extra room for ramp or lift deployment.
Patrons being dropped off may use the paved area near the main entrance ramp before driver parking.
Entrances & Mobility Access
Our main theater level is fully accessible on-grade and via ramp, featuring wide doorways and handrails to accommodate wheelchairs, walkers, and other mobility aids.
Main Entrance
Accessible via the ramp leading directly from the main parking lot.
Downstairs Entrance
Our lower level where rehearsals and dance classes are held is reached via a exterior paved slope leading downward to the lower entrance.
Please note: The facility does not have a passenger elevator, so access between upper and lower levels is via these exterior ground-level pathways
Seating Options
Main Stage Theater Seating:
Integrated wheelchair and accessible seating is located in the first row of the theater, which is completely step-free and provides the smoothest entry and exit. Companion seating is available directly adjacent to accessible seats and is marked on our seating map when purchasing tickets.
Black Box Theater Seating:
Our Black Box productions take place on the lower level, accessible via the exterior paved slope and downstairs entrance. Seating in the Black Box space features flexible, fully removable seats. With advance notice, we can easily reconfigure seats in any row to accommodate wheelchairs or other mobility devices.
Special Seating Accommodations:
Please contact our Box Office in advance if you require any specific arrangements, such as:
Flexible seating adjustments or seat removal for wheelchairs/mobility devices (especially in the Black Box)
Early admittance into the auditorium before standard house opening
Personal guidance or assistance reaching your seat
We kindly ask that patrons requiring assistance plan to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to curtain time so our staff can comfortably assist you to your seat.
Restroom Access
Restrooms are located in the main floor lobby and are reachable via step-free ramp access. One restroom is fully wheelchair-accessible, equipped with grab bar, and clearly marked with accessibility signage.
Assistive Listening Devices
Accessible listening devices are available for all performances to enhance audio clarity and amplification.
Coverage & Control
Lightweight headsets with individual volume controls work seamlessly from any seat in the house.
How to Pick Up
Headsets are available at the Box Office in the lobby prior to each performance on a first-come, first-served basis.
Interpreted Performances
American Sign Language (ASL) interpreted performances are not currently scheduled on a recurring basis. However, we are happy to discuss arranging services for specific performances upon request when given advance notice. Please contact the Box Office to discuss availability for upcoming show dates.
