The CENTER for Performing Arts at Rhinebeck in association with Howl Playwrights presents

Howl at The CENTER, a night of short play readings by members of Howl Playwrights.

A dozen short plays look at the world around us from a dozen different angles.

Aliens in Dutchess County create a zombie plague in order to conquer Planet Earth. Two sad, lonely people try to connect as they wait for the ball to drop. A blind date is saved by the bell, ten times! A famous statue unlocks private, pent-up longing in a tourist. Neighbors keep secrets from each other with toxic results. Two people battle their inner voices as they struggle to connect. A parking ticket begins an unlikely romance. A suitor proposes to his girlfriend with surprising results. A woman finds love in her boyfriend’s brother’s car. A sea captain wanders the ocean with a mountain of trash. And a local lawyer will take care of all your problems, for a fee.
