The CENTER Community Picnic
A FREE EVENT (PLEASE RSVP!)
Saturday, July 18, 2026 at 1:00 PM
Outside on The Grand Lawn at The CENTER
Celebrate summer with us at our annual Community Picnic, an afternoon of food, fellowship, and appreciation for the people who make The CENTER such a special place. This free event is open to everyone, with a special focus on celebrating our dedicated volunteers, members, and supporters. An RSVP is required so we can prepare for all who plan to attend.
Food & Drinks:
Light refreshments will be provided, and guests are welcome to bring their own picnic lunch and beverages if they wish. A cash bar will be available with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink options, and all CENTER Members will receive one complimentary beverage.
Recognition Ceremony – 1:30 PM:
Join us as we recognize this year's honorees during a special awards presentation. We will celebrate Nora Callaghan-Jurgens, recipient of the Lou Trapani Legacy Scholarship, and Rachel Karashay, recipient of the Rodney Plimpton Award for Distinguished Service.
Activities & What to Bring:
Spend the afternoon enjoying lawn games, visiting with friends, and relaxing on the Grand Lawn. Feel free to bring your favorite outdoor games to share, along with picnic blankets, lawn chairs, pop-up tents, sunscreen, and hats. Please note that shade will be limited, so plan accordingly for a sunny day.
Weather Plan:
There is no scheduled rain date. If inclement weather prevents us from gathering outdoors, the recognition ceremony will take place indoors at 1:30 PM. Any updates regarding weather will be communicated in advance.
RSVP Required:
Admission is free, but all guests must reserve a ticket ahead of time. Your RSVP helps us ensure we have enough food and seating for everyone.
We hope you'll join us for an afternoon of great company, community spirit, and celebration as we recognize the outstanding individuals who help make The CENTER thrive.
