A performance by local actress Alina Gonzalez, who graced Hudson Valley stages (including The CENTER) and has been rebuilding her life since a brain aneurysm in April 2020. Her monologue will detail the last six plus years of her life, her struggles, her lows, her highs and the better (and best) days ahead.

Blending humor, dark comedy, and drama, U.S. Man explores contemporary anxieties, economic instability, and the search for purpose in a world that often feels increasingly disconnected and fragile.

Anne is twenty-two, nearing the end of veterinary school, and struggling to find her place in an uncertain world. Drawn each night to a roadside memorial honoring victims of overdose, she wrestles with grief, anger, and a desire for justice.

Combining heartbreak, humor, and touches of magical realism, The Valley of the Cherries examines addiction, loss, and the complicated choices people make when confronting systems that seem impossible to change.
