SUMMER CAMP AT THE CENTER!

Enjoy exciting theater programs for campers ages 5 through adults in our newly renovated, air-conditioned classrooms!



WE WILL PARTNER AGAIN WITH THE RHINEBECK TENNIS CLUB for "STAY AND PLAY" program!

Campers enjoy 2 to 3 hours of tennis lessons at the club located directly behind The CENTER. This is an ideal way to add exercise to your child's day, or have the benefits of a full day camp. To enroll in optional tennis program, download register form by clicking here.

NEW camps this year include Magic camp for ages 13 & up, and a Tech Camp for ages 13 through adult!

ALL CAMPS require registration and a non-refundable deposit, and space is limited.

PERFORMANCE CAMP 1 (ages 11-15) 3-week camp
Students learn acting, voice and stagecraft as they prepare for a public performance.
Students must attend all classes and performances.
July 9-27, 10am-2pm ; Directed by Diana di Grandi.

LITTLE KIDS ON STAGE (ages 5-7)  1-week camp
A light-heared approach to learning stagecraft. Kids will dance, sing, play games
and perform a short presentation on Friday afternoon.
#1 July 9-13, 9am-1pm

KIDS ON STAGE INTERMEDIATE Scene Study
One week camp teaches basic stagecraft through scene study and theater games.
Includes a presentation on Friday afternoon.
(ages 7-10) 1-week camp
August 20-24, 9am-1pm
Scene study camp. $225

KIDS ON STAGE INTERMEDIATE Production- CINDERELLA
For children ages 7-10 who have previous stage experience.
Camp will focus on an abridged production of "Cinderella" that will be performed on Friday afternoon for family and friends.
1-week camps

Interm. 1 Production July 30-August 3 9am-1pm
Interm. 2 Production  August 6-10, 9am-1pm
Interm. 3 Production August 20-24, 10am-2pm

SHAKESPEARE FOR STAGE (ages 13-18) 4-day camp
Re-create Shakespeare's famous characters, including kings, queens, lovers, villains and fools.
Speak and understand Shakespeare's timeless language through scene development. Directed by Lou Trapani

STAGE COMBAT (ages 13-18) 4-day camp
July 3-6, 1pm-4pm   $140.00
Exciting camp combines actorbatics with unarmed and armed combat designed specifically for the stage. Learn the tricks to safely execute slaps, kicks, punches and more.
Tuition fee includes equipment. Directed by Jessalyn Kilgour

MAGIC CAMP (NEW – ages 13 & up) 1 week camp
Learn the tricks of the trade! Celebrated magician, Andy Weintraub, teaches sleight of hand, misdirection, patter and grand illusion. Tuition includes all materials.
August 27-31; 10am-1pm
$150 includes all materials

TECH CAMP (NEW – for high school students and adults)
Learn the basics of lighting, sound and rigging for stage.
After completing the course, students will serve on tech crew for an upcoming production.
July 9-13; 2pm-5pm
No tuition, does include a practicum
