The CENTER offers quality touring productions that are self-contained and travel to any school or organization in the Hudson Valley. These productions are design to complement New York State curricula.
Current productions include "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" (two versions available: elementary and middle/high school), "Rip Van Winkle," an interactive performance that re-tells Washington Irving's memorable tale, and "The Scarlet Letter" based on Nathaniel Hawthorne's classic story.
The New York Dignity for All Students Act (DASA)
The CENTER supports the New York State Dignity for All Students Act (DASA), which places emphasis on our responsibility to protect students from any form of discrimination, harassment, or bullying.
Our production of “The Scarlet Letter” directly addresses these issues and includes an open dialogue with students following each performance that encourages tolerance, respect, awareness and sensitivity to others.
