Summer Dance

Our trained instructors teachTap, Ballet, Pointe, Hip-Hop, Musical Theater, Acro, Lyrical, and Contemporary. We offer classes for ages 3 and up!

CENTERstage Dance Studio is an Acrobatic Arts certified studio.

Please read all of the following information and contact us with questions.

CENTERstage Dance Studio offers a variety of levelled classes for ages 3-adult. We offer a fun environment with quality instruction. A new season begins each September and concludes in May. We typically offer a summer session each year.

Our 2026-2027 season begins the week of September 21 and ends on May 21.

No classes: November 23-27, December 21-January 1, February 1-5, March 22-March 26

Most of our classes perform at a recital in May, and though all students will learn the choreography, students are not required to perform in the recital. Please read more about the recital below.

We accept new students during our summer session and during the school year season. We are not accepting new students to our classes after January 9, 2027.

GENERAL INFORMATION

MONEY MATTERS

A nonrefundable deposit of $30 is required to register for summer dance. We reserve the right to charge a transfer fee- please check your classes before registering!

Registrants may pay in full for the season (September 21, 2026- May 21, 2027) or sign up for monthly billing. Registrants are responsible for keeping track of payment dates and for keeping their payment information current. Monthly billing dates for the 2026-2027 season are as follows:

  • 3/19/2027

  • 4/16/2027

Registrants must contact Victoria at 845-876-3088 to cancel a registration. Registrations cancelled between payment dates will not be given a refund.

We offer two discount options:

  • The Individual Unlimited Dance Pass is recommended for anyone registering for four or more hour long classes or five or more 45 minute classes in a session. You must choose this option when registering online. Registrants are encouraged to add up their class total to see if the Unlimited Pass is the better option for them.

  • A 15% Multiperson Discount for family members who register at the same time. If applicable, the multiperson discount is applied automatically upon check out.

Credit card payments can be taken online or over the phone. Note: Your payment may show up on your billing statement as ACT*RhinebeckPACENTER or ACT*RPA, Inc.
If you wish to pay by CASH or CHECK, please call Victoria at 845-876-3088. Checks must be made out to RPA, Inc.

PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES

Season Recital:

There will be a separate registration for anyone who wants to participate in the May recital. This is different from how we have done things in the past, and we hope it will make things more clear for our families and participants.

Our recital dates will be announced soon. We are considering Saturday May 15 and Saturday May 22.

If you choose to take part in the recital, there will be separate instructions sent regarding recital registration, dress rehearsals, and costume and shoe requirements. Please note that these requirements vary in cost from $65-$120 per dance.

Summer session does not have a recital.

POLICIES

Students and parents/guardians must read and agree to our Studio Agreement when registering.

Our classes are closed sessions. Adults should ask the instructor before entering the studios.

We ask anyone who is sick to please stay home.

Animals are not permitted in our theatre. If you bring your dog onto our grounds, please keep it leashed and clean up after it.

Class Cancellations:

In the event that an instructor cannot make a class, we will attempt to get a substitute for that class. If we cannot, we have built one cancelled class into our pricing. If we must cancel more than one of the same class, we will schedule a makeup class when our schedule permits. We try to keep makeup classes to a minimum.

Our space:

We do not have the space for all adults and students to wait in our green room during classes.  Parents/guardians are invited to wait in our parking lot or take advantage of the charms of the town of Rhinebeck. By registering your dancer, you are agreeing to this policy.

PREDANCE PARENTS/GUARDIANS: Predance parents/guardians may wait in the green room but may not watch the class. By registering your dancer, you are agreeing to this policy.

Please note that we do not have reliable WiFi in our studio.
