CENTER Announces Restaurant Partnership

A night out often consists of dinner and some entertainment. The CENTER for Performing Arts in Rhinebeck, recognizing this, has instituted Dining Partnerships, a new collaboration with local restaurants. Theatergoers presenting a ticket stub from The CENTER at a participating restaurant will get a “bonus”—a discounted main dish, or a free soft drink, or some other benefit.

Participating restaurants will get tremendous increased visibility: An ad for the restaurant will appear on the video monitor in The CENTER’s lobby, running continuously during every performance; the lobby will also feature a one-page promotion with each participating restaurant’s offer, and pertinent contact information; there will be periodic features and constant presence on The CENTER’s website; periodic mention on The CENTER’s Facebook and Twitter accounts.

The first restaurant to sign up for Dining Partnerships is Edo Sushi, a Japanese Restaurant on Route 308 in Rhinebeck, close to The CENTER. They’ll be offering a 10% discount  to CENTER ticket holders. Several more local restaurants are ready to join the program.

“This is a great way for folks to enjoy the theater and to have a taste of Rhinebeck”, says Marlene Golia, CENTER board member and director of this program. “These partnerships are a good way to strengthen the ties among businesses in the community. Everyone loves good food and good entertainment and this program showcases both.”

Theatergoers can find information on the participating restaurants at The CENTER and each participating restaurant will be promoting their own offer at their restaurant. Look for the Dining Partnership logo—The CENTER’s “performer silhouettes”, one of whom now holds a tray with a bowl and a martini glass.
