We are thrilled to be able to offer summer camp tuition assistance for our friends who may not otherwise be able to attend. We have received a grant to offer a limited amount of partial scholarships to children from Dutchess and Ulster Counties who are in financial need. Tuition assistance is available for the following camps: Kids on Stage Performance Camp 1, Youth Stage Combat, Shakespeare for Stage, Auditioning, Voice, and Kids on Stage Intermediate Scene Study. NEW Stage Combat Intensives for Adults!!
Saturday, August 3, 1-4pm

$85 per session or $150 for both days
We are thrilled to welcome D.C. Wright, a Certified Teacher of Stage Combat with the Society of American Fight Directors, on August 3 and 4 for Adult Stage Combat Intensives!
This workshop will include instruction on how to safely and realistically execute staged violence. Some of the techniques we will cover are; slaps, punches, falls to the ground, cuts, parries and more.
DC is currently a Master Instructor with Dueling Arts International, and is the Head of Movement and Stage Combat at Western Illinois University. DC is very active in teaching at national, regional, and local stage combat workshops including the National Stage Combat Workshop, Central Illinois Stage Combat Workshop, Winter Wonderland Workshop, Advanced Actor/Combatant Workshop, Cease and Desist, and Carnage in the Corn with the SAFD. STAGE COMBAT (ages 13-17)

Exciting camp combines actorbatics with unarmed and armed combat designed specifically for the stage. Learn the tricks to safely execute slaps, kicks, punches and more. Tuition $250.00 includes equipment.
SHAKESPEARE FOR STAGE (ages 13-17)
July 1-5, Mon.-Fri. 9am-4pm
Re-create Shakespeare’s famous characters, including kings, queens, lovers, villains and fools. Speak and understand Shakespeare’s timeless language through scene development. Directed by Lou Trapani. $295.00
THE MAGIC OF DISNEY **NEW** (ages 5-8)

Once Upon a Time….come sing and dance to all of your Disney favorites! Join Kevin Archambault as he creates a dazzling song and dance review from some of Disney’s most well known movies. A lively course of music & choreography that cumulates in a review for the public that is sure to have everyone singing hi diddle dee dee!

Kids ages 8 to 16 learn acting, voice and stagecraft as they prepare for public performances of “Disney’s Little Mermaid.”

LITTLE KIDS ON STAGE (ages 5-7) 1-week camp
A light-hearted approach to learning stagecraft. Kids will dance, sing, play games and perform a short presentation on Friday afternoon. Our show will be Circus themed!

TECH CAMP (for high school students and adults)
July 15-19; 2pm-5pm
Learn the basics of lighting, sound and rigging for stage. After completing the course, students will serve on tech crew for an upcoming production.

AUDITIONING FOR THEATRE **NEW**
For middle and high school students
August 12-16, Mon.-Fri. 10am-2pm
Gain valuable information and skills on how to present a stellar and professional audition. We will focus on finding auditions that suit you, choosing appropriate material for your audition, how to address the production team, as well as building tools (applicable to song and monologue) that showcases your skills. We will also build skills towards reading sides and cold-reading at a call-back. Students will present themselves in an audition format on the final day of camp. VOICE FOR THEATRE **NEW**
August 19-23, Mon.-Fri. 10am-2pm
For middle and high school students
Love to sing? Love to act? Love both? This is the camp for you! Receive personal and group coaching of vocal technique in the areas of proper breathing, release of tension, utilizing multiple areas of resonance, and acting through song. With a song assigned to you on day one, each camper will work towards understanding the needed skills to learn music quickly, apply feedback in a short amount of time, and how to work with an accompanist. Each camper will have the opportunity to perform for their family and peers on the last day of camp. Directed by Shannon Fitzsimons

One week camp teaches basic stagecraft through scene study of popular children’s plays, along with theater games. Includes a presentation on Friday afternoon

For children ages 7-10 who have previous stage experience. Students will refine their stagecraft skills as they prepare for an abridged production of “Alice in Wonderland.” Includes a presentation on Friday afternoon.
