"Still To Us At Twilight; Songs Of Days Gone By," (8:00PM - 8:00PM)

Tenor George Conrad and pianist Joel Flowers will present "Still To Us At Twilight; Songs of Days Gone By," a recital of 19th and early 20th century songs. You'll thrill to the nostalgia of "After the Ball is Over," "Wait 'till the Sun Shines," "Nellie," "The Last Rose of Summer," and many, many more.

Conrad has been involved in local theater for more than 20 years, both with County Players of Wappingers Falls and at The CENTER for Performing Arts at Rhinebeck.

Joel Flowers, the brilliant accompanist for this recital, worked for many years as an entertainment director for the U.S. Army in Germany, where he also accompanied vocalists at the Theater des westerns and the Deutsche Opera in Berlin. Residing in the Hudson Valley since 1994, Joel has served as Musical Director for many local community theater productions. He is the Community Recreation Coordinator at the United States Military Academy at West Point.

A brand new puppet show! Take a trip back in time to 15th Century Italy and meet a remarkable boy named Leonardo. He works as an apprentice in the studio of Master Verocchio and, surrounded by books, charts, tools, statues, paintings and maps, discovers the wonders of art and science. Leonardo dreams especially of building a flying machine and, one day, to the amazement of family and friends, actually does! This is an imaginary story inspired by the drawings, paintings and writing of the world's greatest artist and inventor Leonardo da Vinci.

An exciting, interactive show that explains how birds of prey and reptiles have their own unique adaptations for survival. Learn the importance of birds and reptiles in the balance of nature, and how man has helped to restore endangered species such as the peregrine falcon.
